Day 74 - Formation of NUG - Ohn Mar Win - Days of Resistance Unisex T-Shirt

Day 74 marks the formation of National Unity Government, a day to remember and honor the fierce determination of Myanmar people who refuse to surrender to dictatorship.  Drawn on the day of NUG formation (74th day since Myanmar military coup), esteemed artist Ohn Mar Win captured this historic day as part of  her Daily Three Fingers Salute collection.

Ohn Mar Win has been drawing every single day since the coup happened on the 1st of Feb 2021. The collection now adds up to over 180 salutes and each salute represents an individual day representing crucial events that have happened since.

Ohn Mar is a Burmese born (U.K. based) illustrator, sketchbook artist and teacher, best known for food illustrations. Ohn Mar’s 25 watercolour sketchbooks document her creative journey and inspired over 20 online classes. Her mission statement is: I use my creativity and intuition to support and inspire myself, and then help others do the same.
