Do good, feel good and look good - Donation Update

June has come and gone. It has been 154 days since Myanmar military took over the country. The confirmed total deaths due to violent suppression by the regime is now at 892. A total of 5085 people including the democratically elected leaders are still under arrest. Every day civilians are subjected to arbitrary arrest, abductions and brutal treatment by the military. Despite the military’s blatant abuses and extreme disregard to human lives, the people of Myanmar continue to resist the military rule, defying its iron claws in any way they could, with every chance they have.


For us, the ex-pats, we are continuing to do our part in supporting those who are in severe need of help. With the launch of www.riseandshinewithfreedom.com we are able to do exactly that. To date, a total of US$1891.39 or GBP 1360.71 have been sent to Myanmar to help those in need. The breakdown of each category which received our funds in May and June of 2021 are as below:


Health Care in Myanmar : 59.22%

Support for Civil Disobedience Movement: 15.86%

Help People In Need via Mogok Trust: 9.55%

IDP due to persecution: 10.15%

Mutual Aid for Myanmar: 5.22%

Thanks to all who have donated, cheered on and supported our effort for sustainable fundraising by means of merchandising. Thanks to our amazing artists who donated their talent for this great cause. As a reminder, we donate 100% of profit from the sales.

We continue to improve and find ways to create amazing products with impactful messages and art. We are now able to ship worldwide with fewer shipping costs. We have many more ideas brewing and new beautiful designs in the process. Through our creative designs, we hope to highlight not only the current crisis of Myanmar but also all the wonders of Myanmar which could never be taken away by the military regime. We can’t wait to continue sharing our work with you.
